The C. Bechstein Residence R 6 Elegance is worthy of its name for a number of reasons:the touch is wonderfully fine and can be felt throughout your body from the very first note.
The rich sound instantly captivates the listener in an emphatic demonstration of tonalelegance. Made in Germany, this top-of-the-line upright piano boasts gently flowing lines and sophisticated details.
The acoustic assembly has been newly developed as well with a new scale length and optimized soundboard and rib dimensioning, with the typical feature of the Residence series, agraffes in the entire tone range in contrast to the pressure rod and silie on the Academy pianos. All of this, together with the C. Bechstein hammer heads with a walnut hammer core, leads to a further improvement of the distinguished C. Bechstein Residence sound spectrum. An even more pronounced dynamic range and the new keyboard and action assembly enable an even more nuanced playing.
There are three case designs “Classic”, “Elegance” and “Style”, All cabinet versions have been minimally adjusted to the new dimensions.
